  7. Tempe Fair coming up next weekend, but it won’t be the same with you guys not there. Happy for you that you’re in a gallery with your work continuing to grow in beauty. Hoping to take a car trip to the Northwest next summer, so perhaps we will be able to see your work in person again.
Best wishes for a good holiday season!

  8. The Tempe Arts Festival is so blah without you! I look at your corner and hope that you will magically materialize, sort of like the Tartus, so I can shop. Delighted that you have a gallery, it looks wonderful. Can your Phoenix fans order your work my e-mail? Congratulations!

  10. Sherry, thanks for your kind words. We have fond memories of our corner at the Tempe show, those were good times. Who knows, one day we may come back to the area to do a show and will post it if we do on our blog. Over the holidays our son is going to help us set up an online gallery on the site. soon there will be dedicated pieces for sale online. In the meantime, if there is something in particular you are interested in you can always contact us by email and we can email photos of work in stock. We ship pottery all over the country for customers. Thanks for your inquiry! Peggy and Michael

  11. Please put me on your list of people who will be notified when you start your online gallery. I bought a piece from you several years ago at Fountain Hills and I just love it! I am ready for more! Congratulations on your gallery – I hope to visit soon!

  12. Thanks for your inquiry Elizabeth, and your continuing interest in our pottery. Making pottery is our life’s work and we still love it. Our technical skills are in need of more practice and with the help of our son we will soon have an online gallery with a limited display of special pieces or maybe one at a time. Will keep you posted. Best to you, Peggy and Michael

  15. thanks, I will call you this week… I am interested in a combination of the various animals… moose, bear, etc… Maybe some bowls also, depending on price.. Thanks… Mary Ann

  16. thanks, I rec’d the pictures and responded.. Just left a voicemail also. Mary Ann

  17. Peg, Are your mugs dishwasher safe or will the paint eventually wear off? Please advise…. We are loving our mugs and can’t wait until you finish my bowl… Thanks so much!! Mary Ann

  18. P.S. In addition to the fact that our mugs are food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe, I must add that our glazes are not paint. They will not wear off or fade ever. Our pottery is fired to cone 10 ( 2350 degrees) in our natural gas kiln. The temperature we fire to is the temperature our clay and glazes are formulated to melt at. At this high heat the glaze and clay fuse together and are permanently bonded. It takes us 12 hours to bring the kiln to 2350 at which time we turn off the gas and close up the ports. It then takes around 36 hours to cool the kiln enough to unload the pottery pieces.
The whole process of our pottery making is time consuming and every single piece we make is hand made all the way. Each one is unique and individual. We are passionate about clay, originality and design. Enjoy!

  19. thanks.. I figured this was the case, they are fired at a high temperature, but, they are so beautiful that I wanted to ask to be sure.. We enjoy the mugs daily and look forward to your bowl(s)… Thank you so much for such beautiful work! Mary Ann
